The Breast Cancer Detection Center is a local non-profit dedicated to life-saving screening and mobile mammography across the Interior. For nearly 50 years, your health has been our only mission.

“Early detection
saves lives.”
Our mission, since 1976
We maintain the highest national standards for clinical excellence and patient safety, right here in Fairbanks.
For nearly fifty winters, we've stood beside Alaskan women — in the exam room, in the mobile coach, and at every finish line of the Run for Women. What began in 1976 as a small clinic on Cowles Street is now the state's trusted home for breast health.
We are your neighbors. We are locally governed, non-profit, and accountable to Interior Alaska — not shareholders. Every screening here is delivered with the calm, unhurried care our community deserves.
